What's the difference between a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and a Nissan Certified Select vehicle? Both kinds of vehicles fall under the “certified pre-owned” category, with one of the key differences being their age and mileage requirements. Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicles can't be older than six model years and can't have more than 80,000 miles on their odometers. Nissan Certified Select models, on the other hand, can be up to 10 model years old and can have up to 100,000 miles on their odometers since Nissan Certified Select applies to models outside of the Nissan brand.
